Naked ADSL2+ | Naked ADSL

May 26, 2008

Corporate telecommunications company Broadband Solutions have today announced the release of our eagerly awaited Naked ADSL2+ services.

Naked ADSL2+ is a new type of broadband that is delivered over a copper line, but unlike traditional ADSL, naked DSL does not have a telephone service attached to it. The line is connected to a traditional telephone outlet, however it has no dial tone, and lacks the ability to make/receive phone calls. It has no phone number attached to it, and is used only to deliver your broadband.

Most significantly, the introduction of Naked ADSL2+ means that customers using VoIP or mobile phones for their telephony no longer need to pay unnecessary line rental fees on top of their broadband fees. This represents significant monthly savings.

"After conducting a survey across a large number of our broadband and VoIP clients, the most common gripe we received from customers was that they were using VoIP for telephony, but a lot of the savings they were making were being eaten up by telephone line rental fees to Telstra - when really, they didn't even need the telephone service that the line provided", said Sales & Marketing Director Sam Demarco.

"We've listened to the feedback, and are now offering Naked ADSL2+ to both new and existing customers. We are also offering bundled discounts on our VoIP product, to anyone who signs up to Naked ADSL2+.".

Naked ADSL2+ is available immediately on selected exchanges.
