ADSL2+ is an extension of ADSL which provides faster speeds and greater distance limits. ADSL2+ is also asymmetric, meaning that the upload and download speeds are generally not the same. ADSL2+ is a type of Broadband that is delivered over a shared PSTN/POTS copper phone line. Like ADSL, ADSL2+ provides much faster download speeds than upload speeds, making it well suited to organisations that download more than they upload.
ADSL2+ is one of the fastest types of Broadband currently available in Australia. The theoretical maximum speed is 20Mbps download, 1Mbps upload. Speeds are determined by distance to exchange and quality of copper line. Your modem will sync at the highest speed possible on your line. Typical speeds range from between 10Mbps and 20Mbps. We offer plans with data allowances up to 150Gb/month.
