The Mobile Wireless Network currently provides speeds up to 3.6Mbps. The network is being progressively upgraded to 7.2Mbps over the next 12 months, to provide end-to-end network speeds of 7.2Mbps across CBDs, metropolitan and selected regional locations. Depending on signal strength, users can expect average throughput of between 1.5Mbps and 3Mbps with peak speeds reaching over 6Mbps.
